Mechanism for Folding Knives

The aim of the development was to build a mechanism for a folding knife , which would combine the advantages of folding knives ( little space needed , no separate sheath needed ) with the advantages of fixed blade knives ( to be used with one hand , reliable , clearance-free , no disfunction due to dust ).
In order to comply with this aim , all stop surfaces are placed on a cam , which is situated on the tang inside the dustproof housing .
